Do I need a visa to travel to Colombia?

Please note that ICESI University will not provide compensation, reimbursement, or cover any travel or accommodation expenses. Click here to request your visa support letter. Use the visa guide below for reference: some nationalities are visa-exempt for short stays (including most Latin American countries, all European Union members, and the United States). Others must apply for an online visa before travel. Make sure to check the official website for the most up-to-date information .

If you hold a passport issued by a State or territory listed in List A, B, or C, or those listed as Special Visa Exemption Cases, you may enter, remain in, and leave Colombia without a visa for short-stay activities (including business, leisure, tourism, or cultural activities), provided that these activities do not generate payment for services, wages, or salaries in Colombia.
The activities of professors, lecturers, or researchers invited by academic or research institutions, who receive recognition in kind (travel expenses, airfare, stipends), are also included. Remember that it is the discretionary power of the Colombian Government to authorize the entry and stay of foreigners in the country, determining the conditions or requirements for this, as well as the reasons or motives for leaving and/or abandoning the national territory.
